How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches out to Toldcustom Plumbing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page shows how to do that and what comes next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You are welcome to write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Toldcustom Plumbing
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • How a plumber we connected you with behaved

When the Issue Is With a Provider

The plumbers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own estimates, prices, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the plumber directly and keep a written record of what is said.

Please tell us too. Hearing about providers helps us keep the network honest, and a provider who repeatedly falls short of what we expect may be removed. One thing to keep in mind: Toldcustom Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work, or make decisions on a provider's behalf.

How to Send Your Complaint

Email contact@toldcustom.living and include:

  • Your name and a good way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You can also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with the plumbing work itself, your state or local plumbing licensing board may be able to help as well.
